About
I’m Jan Pluta, a software engineer based in Warsaw.
I’ve spent 10+ years building software, starting in mobile and backend systems, later co-founding a SaaS company as CTO, and now working in fintech. My current focus is production AI systems: the backend, platform, and organizational layers that turn LLM capabilities into useful workflows.
I’m especially interested in regulated domains like fintech and healthcare, where AI has to be reliable, auditable, explainable enough, and integrated with existing business processes.
I write about AI agents, backend architecture, evals, engineering leadership, and the transition from traditional software engineering to AI-native systems work.
